Preparing for and bringing home a newborn can be full of questions, unknowns and a desire to support your baby and yourself as best as possible. With my experience as an occupational therapist and lactation consultant I am uniquely able to support a variety of needs and difficulties that may arise.
Prepared Parent Program:
Five 1:1, 45-60 minute sessions focused on your needs in preparing for welcoming a new baby. Topics can include:
- Nursery and Baby Registry Planning
- Biologic Changes of the Birthing Parent (and Why They Have Super Powers)
- Breastfeeding 101
- The Importance of Nurtured Care
- Infant Sleep Norms
- Setting Expectations for the First Month: Feeding, Sleep, Family Dynamics
Ideal for first time parents feeling the need to be well-prepared for baby’s arrival or for seasoned parents looking to make different choices than they did with previous children.
Nurtured Start Advisory:
Three months access to weekly 1:1, 45-60 minute sessions on topics relevant to you and your infant, including but not limited to:
- Feeding (breast or bottle)
- Sleep
- Temperament
- Development
- Infant Massage
- Supporting long-term social emotional outcomes
*Available for extensions in 3 month increments, if mutually agreed upon
Ideal for first time parents looking for regular touch points and ongoing education to support the early postpartum period or for seasoned parents who’ve realized the importance of strong, reliable support in the postpartum period.
Whole Infant Care Partnership:
Three months access to:
- Weekly 1:1, 45-60 minute sessions on focused areas of need
- Text support throughout the week with defined response times
- Coordination with household staff and other care providers
*Available for extensions in 3 month increments, if mutually agreed upon
Ideal for parents that benefit from more frequent reassurance and support or for infants with more complex, nuanced needs that may require frequent modification in support strategies.
